Purpose : Recent studies suggest that nimodipine, a potent calcium-channel blocker, may improve neurological outcome after experimental hypoxia-ischemic brain injury. This study was conducted to evaluate the therapeutic effect of nimodipine on hypoxia-ischemia in immature rat brain.
